“নিরাপদ মাছে ভরবো দেশ, মুজিববর্ষে বাংলাদেশ ” এ শ্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে কুমিল্লার চান্দিনায় ২৮৫.৭১ কেজি রুই জাতীয় মাছের পোনা অবমুক্ত করা হয়।
২০২০-২০২১ অর্থবছরের রাজস্ব বাজেটের আওতায় চান্দিনা উপজেলার মৎস্য অফিসের আয়োজনে ১২ সেপ্টেম্বর শনিবার দিনব্যাপী উপজেলার সরকারি পুকুর, জলাশয়, প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক জলাশয় প্লাবনভূমি, জলমহাল, বর্ষায় প্লাবীত ধান ক্ষেত মাছের পোনা অবমুক্ত করণ কর্মসূচী উদ্বোধন করেন সাবেক ডেপুটি স্পিকার অধ্যাপক মো: আলী আশরাফ এমপি।
মাছের পোনা অবমুক্তকরণ কর্মসূচিতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা তপন বকসী, উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার বিভীষণ কান্তি দাশ, চান্দিনা পৌর সভার মেয়র মো: মফিজুল ইসলাম,চান্দিনা থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) শামস্ উদ্দিন মোহাম্মদ ইলিয়াস, উপজেলা প্রকৌশলী মোল্লা আবুল কালাম আজাদ, উপজেলা শিক্ষা অফিসার আব্দুল্লাহ আল মামুন, সিনিয়র উপজেলা মৎস্য কর্মকর্তা মো: ফারুক ময়েদুজ্জামান সহ কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারী বৃন্দ প্রমুখ।
